what happen to the people before Jesus Christ? how do they get into heaven?
if the only way is through Jesus Christ ? Jesus had to die for our sins before anyone could be forgiven. is this the reason that Jesus Christ went to hell? i know whosoever believeth in the only begotten Son shall not perish, is this the answer were they saved by their faith in the coming of the Lord someday and Jesus went to hell to rescue all true believers?

i have never found scripture to where God claims any other name.
i am not a Jehovah witness.
it says in the bible in the book of exodus in the 10 comandments that thou shalt not have any other Gods and it goes on to tell that he is a jealous God so i believe one God one faith

First of all the ones before Jesus never had a heavenly hope. Their hope was to be resurrected on earth and live forever on earth. When Jesus came to earth he started preaching something new, something that was hard to comprehend and that was a resurrection to heaven as spirits. The scriptures also says that it’s only for a selective group that will rule as kings and priests in heaven. the rest of mankind will be subjects of that Kingdom.

They were in Purgatory awaiting our Savior Jesus Christ. Once all sin and it consequences were satisfied, they entered heaven with Jesus.

I wonder that myself sometimes. I assumed the people who were faithful to God are there already. You know, Abraham, Moses, Noah. And all those who kept the previous covenants made with God. I would ask a rabbi, maybe? (I’m Catholic, myself)

I dont understand it, but there is a reference that Jesus was 3 days in the heart of the earth making it known what has happened ..i think every soul and spirit has the chance to accept what Jesus did and enter into that everlasting covenant at some point ,, hearing the word and rejecting it is the damnation point.

You need to understand that Jesus is the same God as the Old Testament God. God had an old covenant with Jewish people and Jesus has a new covenant with all the people

It would seem that, if the mythology surrounding xtian heaven, hell, ect. is true, all the people all over the world born before Juesus were heading straight to hell, as Purgatory wasn’t invented until 394 CE in the Council of Carthage. You can’t go to somewhere that hasn’t been invented yet right?
I suppose questions like this are inevitable of your religion was invented and everyone knows exactly when, rather than it’s origins being hidden in the mists of time.
