Unfortunately, political conditions forced Reed out of Berlin before shooting wrapped, compelling him to complete the picture in the studio. Even so, the story of East Berliner Ivo Kern (Mason) who rescues Susanne Mallison (Claire Bloom), a British woman trapped in the Soviet Zone, is a minor masterpiece of suspense. Despite great danger to himself, Kern takes it upon himself to escort Mallison back to her family in West Berlin. After a daring dash through the countryside, the seeming impossible is achieved—but only through a conspicuous act of self sacrifice. Never completely satisfied with The Man Between, Carol Reed grudgingly admitted “It made back its money.” |

I was once single, and it was not a pleasant times to be in-between dates and occasional hook-ups.
I noticed once Married, porn was a lot better. When I was single it was a relief valve. Now porn being married is purely recreational. It doesn’t matter if I check something out for days, weeks or even months, but when I need my little jaunt on the wild side, it’s short and then it’s done.
I have also noticed that at times away from my wife, on business trips and such, that a steady diet of porn really sucks. It seems to work better with the wife around, ironically. It seems to fire me up for love making times, seeing that my wife is a normal girl.
Actually the girl I like for 15 minutes is not the girl I would not want to be married to, and is definitely not the girl my wife is. Her wild side is like lukewarm to me.

Please realise that porn is a trap that can such you in and become an addiction.
You don’t need porn or any other person in your bedroom and you don’t need a hot wife to get you in the mood.
You have seen now that porn really suck, like on your business trips. It can never satisfy and then comes the idea of a bit wilder, a bit more bizarre…it will suck you in.
I have cut off any porn, even guys at work or stupid emails because I realised how it is like say gambling, for years you may get away without it being your boss. But any day it can grab you and then it will destroy you. Porn has done that and will do that again.
Please realise today that it is wrong and decide never ever to do it again. You wife deserves that man and rather put the effort into romance. You know, good sex is hard work, don’t be lazy. Make a date, take the time and she will reward you in a way porn never can.
